Corinne Elizabeth Putz

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Corinne Putz (née Nuss) on July 9, 2024, at the age of 88. Corinne was born on October 4, 1935, in Waukesha, WI to parents Sabina and Arnold Nuss.
She married the love of her life, James (Jim J.P.) Putz, in August of 1953 and together they shared a beautiful life. Corinne graduated from Waukesha High School and was the former owner of Kids Corner. She had a passion for sewing, quilting, crafting, reading, and gardening.
Corinne will be greatly missed by her loving children, Roxanne (Thom Anderson) Knoelke-Anderson, Cheryl Putz, and Dawne Tabat; her grandchildren, Corey Knoelke, Lacy Knoelke, Katie Zilli (Anthony), Angie (Lance) Graham, and Lindsey (Tom Skupniewitz) Tabat, McLean (Dan) Gunderson, Kelly Anderson; and her great-grandchildren, Teagan Graham, Blake Graham, Sloane Graham, Gianna Zilli, and Briella Zilli, Keegan Gunderson, Logan Anderson, Jack Anderson; her fur baby Teddi, and many other relatives and friends.
Corinne was preceded in death by her loving husband Jim; her parents; her siblings Joyce (Jack) Brown and Delores (Eddie) Scherf; her grandson Jason Anderson, and many other relatives and friends.
The visitation for Corinne will be held on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until the start of services at 12:00 p.m. at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1052 White Rock Ave, Waukesha, WI 53186.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the UW Health Cancer Center at ProHealth Care, Dr. Jonathan Kapke, Kathryn Asmus, and the Angels Grace Hospice Staff for their exceptional care and support.
