Cory Hargis Obituary
September 20, 1989 - July 16, 2023
It is with great sadness that we announce the untimely death of Cory Michael Hargis (age 33) after a courageous battle in the hospital. Cory was a native Ohioian having grown up in Olmsted Falls before moving to Parma with his wife. Cory is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth, parents, Mike and Sheryl Hargis, brother, Dustin Hargis (Sam Hargis), sister Jessica Hargis (Ray Corrigan), nieces and nephew Lily, Hunter, Baby H, grandparents, Phillip and Shirley Hargis (deceased) and Jean and Nolan Ferrier, in-laws Lorraine, Rich, and Jenn Maslach, and many other beloved family members and friends. This tragic loss hits hard as Cory was the light in many people's lives and will be missed immensely.
If you'd like to pay your respects, the family welcomes you to attend calling hours from 1-4 pm and 5-9 pm on Saturday, July 22, 2023, with a prayer service to begin around 8 pm at Busch Funeral and Crematory Services at 7501 Ridge Rd, Parma, OH, 44129. The family also invites you to join them at St. Stanislaus Church, 3649 East 65th Street, Cleveland, OH 44105 for services at 11 am on Saturday, July 29th, followed by a balloon launch and refreshments at Cleveland Central Catholic High School.

Elizabeth, Mike and Sheryl, Dustin, Jessica, grandparents Hargis and Ferrier. I know the hurt still remains and today I just want to say that he knows how much you all loved him and miss him always, I think God let's us exist in spirit even when we are gone from this world. My thoughts and my heart go out to all.

God will keep Cory by his side, we know this because of the way Cory Lived his life, the way he treated and loved his family and friends. My heart breaks for your family who misses you Cory. There was only kind, sincere and loving words spoken by your mom, who I had the pleasure of working with. My sincere condolences to the Hargis family and to all your friends who will miss you terribly. God bless you all and keep good memories flowing to ease your pain.
