Coy Ray Duncan, of Pauls Valley, was born May 11, 1945 in Wynnewood, Oklahoma. He passed away September 8, 2025 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the age of 80 years.

Coy and Oleta Harmon were married in Wynnewood, Oklahoma on July 7, 1964. He served in the United States Marine Corp and is a Veteran of Vietnam. During his service he became extremely ill with malaria, he was wounded, as well, and earned 2 Purple Hearts. From his illness and the wounds, he left the Marines after 14 years of service. He returned home and began his own business as a Lawn Mower Technician and was a member of the Beaty Baptist Church.

Coy enjoyed hunting and fishing as well as wood working and working in his yard.

He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Clive Duncan; his mother, Floy Ruth (Easley) Steffens; and his brother, Stanley Steffens.

Coy is survived by his wife of 61 years, Oleta Duncan, four children, David Duncan and wife, Angelica, Ronnie Lynn Duncan and wife, Debra, Donna Green, and Tracey Young and husband, Alex; 6 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren; four sisters, Paula Hahn and husband, Mickey, Claudia Auten, Carmella Rushton Steffens, and Dona Durst; two brothers, Dale Duncan and Tony Duncan; and a brother in law, Troy Harmon.

The family of Mr. Coy R. Duncan have scheduled memorial services for 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 23rd, 2025 at the Beaty Baptist Church with Pastor Glenn Alley officiating.
