Craig Burgdorf

Craig Steven Burgdorf, of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at the age of 67. Beloved husband of Rose Burgdorf; cherished son of the late Roy and Lorraine Burgdorf. Devoted father of Lucia Simpkins and Lauren (Aaron) Molitor; loving grandfather of Deja Bradford, Jasmine Collier, Kaedric Molitor, Cooper Molitor, and Gabi Molitor; dear brother of Roy S. (Sharon) Burgdorf, Nancy (the late James) Kinder, Mary Jill (James) Heiligenstein, and Luke (Michelle) Burgdorf; brother-in-law of Lucia Rich and Mary Kay (the late Joe) Mercurio; treasured nephew of Stanley "Spud" & Jean Wolinski; beloved uncle, cousin, golfer, and friend to many.

Craig enjoyed the outdoors and loved working in the yard even after a full day’s work with the Parks Department. He also loved decorating the house during the holidays and his home was one to be seen at Christmas for his decorations and lights. Craig was an avid golfer along with his brother playing on many leagues throughout the year. Whatever he was doing, he always had his rock and roll music playing.

Craig was a loving husband. Rose and Craig celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on August 20, 2023. He was a wonderful, silly, playful dad and grandpa. He will be remembered as being fun loving and always there for anyone who needed him. Craig was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
