Craig Wayne Jowers passed away on August 11, 2025, at the age of 57. He will be remembered for his gentle nature, reliability, and the quiet love he always carried for his family.
Born to Jackie and Brenda Jowers, Craig spent many years working alongside his father in the family restaurant, where he became known for his steady presence and strong work ethic. He later embraced various roles-including serving as an account manager for Aaron's-approaching every job with dedication and warmth.
Craig wasn't one to chase grand adventures or fame-he found his happiness in the everyday. Whether it was a good meal, a genuine conversation, or simply being there for his loved ones, his kindness and sincerity spoke volumes.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Brenda Jowers, and his loving grandparents.
Craig is survived by his father Jackie Jowers; sister Stephanie Summers and husband Neil; son Justin Jowers and wife Melinda, parents of Isabella and Margaret; son Dustin Jowers, father of Brayden, Brantley and Braxton; son Jack Jowers and wife Stormie, parents of Zoey, Grayson and Piper; nieces, Kamryn Barr, Kelci Jowers, and nephew Ryder Barr; great nieces, Brooklyn, Kaelyn, Hazelyn, Revlyn and Blaise; great nephew Dakota.
Craig's grandchildren-Isabella, Margaret, Brayden, Brantley, Braxton, Zoey, Grayson and Piper, were the light of his life, and he was a proud and loving grandfather.
Craig's absence will be felt deeply by those who knew him. Though he may not have sought out headlines or dramatic exploits, his life was rich with the kind of love and care that leaves a lasting mark.
Craig's family will host a visitation on Friday, August 15th from 6 to 8 PM at Heartland Funeral Home in Early. Graveside Services are scheduled at Bangs Cemetery on Saturday, August 16th at 10 AM. Family and friends are invited to gather, share their memories, and celebrate the quietly extraordinary life he led.
