Craig LeRoy Klenzman, 79, of Somonauk, IL, passed away Saturday, August 9, 2025, at his home with his loving wife by his side. He was born June 1, 1946, in Australia, the son of Marvin and Leith (Deshon Curzon) Klenzman. He married the love of his life, Terrill Staley on August 22, 1964, in Waterloo, IA. Craig was a member of the Lion’s Club and the Newark Sportsman’s Club. In his free time, Craig could be found fishing, trap shooting, or hunting. He was a wood worker by trade and could fix anything. Craig was the original MacGyver! Most of all, Craig loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Terry; his daughters, Kristine Burton of Mendota, IL; Bobbie (Richard) Belanger of VA, and Kimberly (Anthony) Pero of AZ; his nine grandchildren; his eight great grandchildren; his sister, Janelle (Jon) Rench of IA; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his grandsons, Joshua Burton and Scott Belanger; and his brother, Mark Klenzman.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Somonauk. Funeral Service will be at 12:00 noon on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at the funeral home in Somonauk, with Pastor Scott Beattie. Burial will follow at Baker Cemetery in Leland.
