So many memories to share, from camping as children, Craig trying to teach me how to play Tom Sawyer on the drums, and he and JoDee decorating my car on my wedding day. Craig was a special person, and he will live in our memories for years to come. All our love through this extremely difficult time xoxo

I learned of Craig from Leo. I don't see it here, but this is Leo's post that brought me here to give you my condolences. There are no good words when someone leaves too soon, and in such difficult circumstances. GodSpeed Craig.

Leo posted this on Zen Habits. Losing a Friend.

Last week, Craig Maloney, a friend and member of my Fearless Living Academy community died from cancer.

I´m heartbroken.

Craig was a member of my communities for the last 5 years, a leader and contributor in those communities, and a positive presence. He was a friend who I´d had numerous beautiful conversations with. He was on my podcast last season.

As I write this (last week as you get this email), I´ve been just sitting with the grief. Sitting and feeling rocked, and confused, and very very tender.

Sitting and being with what´s showing up for me. If you´ve had the experience of suddenly losing a friend (which I´ve had a few times now), you know how it can pull the world out from under your feet.

A lot of people were touched by Craig, in the FLA community but in others as well. He contributed, he was passionate, he cared. He was vulnerable, honest, and he showed up.

He will be missed. I love him.

with love,

Leo
