Craig R. Pusey, age 71, of Mt. Morris, passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2023. A Visitation will be held at 4PM until the time of the Memorial Service at 6PM on Friday, December 8, 2023, at Sharp Funeral Home, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road in Swartz Creek. Sharp Funeral Home has been entrusted with funeral arrangements.
Craig was born on February 10, 1952, to the late Robert & Dora Pusey in Flint, Michigan. He graduated from Swartz Creek High School in 1970. After graduation Craig started his employment with General Motors, where he worked for 36 years retiring in 2006. Craig married Debra Fuytinck in Mt. Morris on February 13, 1998. Together they enjoyed many years of traveling in the fifth wheel, cruises, and family vacations at Little Platte Lake in Honor, Michigan at the cabin. They also took yearly trips for NASCAR and visited many casinos. In his earlier years he enjoyed bowling but as of recent he particularly liked golfing especially with family and friends. Some of his most favorite things where fishing and playing cards, but nothing could compare with spending time with family.
He is survived by his loving wife, Debra; his six children, Marianne (Jim) Fischer, Jeff (Robyn) Moore, Jessica (Jason) Smith, Jason Moore, Anthony (Britanya) Pusey and Jodi (Steve Stiles) Moore; nine grandchildren, Ethan Moore, Dylan Schatz, Cheyenne (Brandon) Bonasse, Brooklynne Moore, Brayden Moore, Breanna Moore, Bryce Moore, Alexia Fischer and Zander Smith; three great-grandchildren, Bailey Bonasse, Blaine Schatz and Elliana Moore. Craig is also survived by his three siblings, Mark (Sharon) Pusey, Dawn (Ken) Adamek and Kathy (Gary) Deick and his father-in-law, Edmond (Patricia) Fuytinck. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends too numerous to list but never forgotten.
In addition to his parents, Robert (Dora) Pusey, he is preceded in death by his mother-in-law Bonnie Fuytinck.
The family would like to thank the multiple specialty care teams at Genesys Physicians Integrated Diagnostics and a special thank you to the Critical Care Team at Ascension Genesys Hospital for all their efforts and support.
