William Lee Rosenthal, age 84, of Swartz Creek, passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2025. Funeral service will take place 1:00 PM on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Pastor Dan Bowman will preside with burial at Evergreen Cemetery, Grand Blanc following. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of service Tuesday. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to American Cancer Society.
Bill was born on February 27, 1941 in Flint, the son of the late Orrin and Melva (Barnett) Rosenthal. He graduated from Swartz Creek High School. Following his education Bill enlisted into the United States Navy until his honorable discharge. Bill and Carrol Miller were united in marriage on August 7, 1971 in Flint. Sadly, she preceded him in death on December 25, 2015. He worked for GM - Chevy in the hole for many years until his retirement. Bill also owned and operated a farm, harvesting many crops in the summer. He was a member of the 2 Cylinder Tractor Club. In his free time, Bill enjoyed spending time with his family, tending to his farm and sitting with his dogs.
He is survived by his loving daughter, Heather (Dennis) Hoffman; and grandchildren, Easton and Joyce Merrell. In addition to his parents and wife, Bill was preceded in death by his sisters, Margaret and Marjorie Rosenthal. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com
