Susan Marie Horton - Age 72, of Flint, passed away August 12, 2025. Funeral services will be held 11:30AM Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Visitation will be held from 10:30AM until the time of service. Burial will follow in Great Lakes National Cemetery. Susan was an animal lover and the family asks that those desiring to make a donation, kindly consider the Humane Society of Genesee County. Susan was born February 1, 1953 in Flint, the daughter of the late Leo Joseph and Alene Mae (Clotier) Sova. Susan loved to stay busy; working her yard and doing crossword puzzles. She is survived by her daughters, Jodi Hackl and Wendy Findley; step-children, Tracy Horton and Ryan Horton; grandchildren, Ashley Kasper, Erica Greka, Bryan Kasper, Erwin Hackl, Franz Hackl and Zachary Hackl; several great-grandchildren; siblings, Linda, Leo, Kate and Chris; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Terry Horton; siblings, Mike, Dave, Billy, Pat and Gayle. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com
