It is with great sadness we share the passing of Craig H. Thornell, 70, of Haverhill on October 1st, 2025. After a short illness he unexpectedly passed away, peacefully at home with his wife.
He was born in Lawrence, MA, son of the late Herbert and Winifred (Landry) Longdin.
He was employed for many years at Miliken, previously known as Andover Healthcare in Salisbury. He was a very dedicated, hard working member of the team there. He enjoyed reading, history, intellectual conversation, animals, the beach and most of all spending time with his beloved Nancy and their family.
Craig is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of 20 years, Nancy M. Drew: his step daughter Jessica A Drew and fiance Saul Espinosa of Manchester, NH: step son Shawn R Drew of Ossipee, NH; five grandchildren Izaiha, Elyssia, Jacob, Alejandro, Aryanna; one great granddaughter Annais. His sisters Cheryl Mackenzie of West hartford, CT: Donna Laclerc and Tina Nartiff: predeceased by his stepdaughter Krysta M Quintana: brothers Keith G. Longdin, Darryl W. Longdin, Wayne C. Longdin; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visitation on Tuesday, Oct. 7th from 4-5 PM at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Bradford Funeral Home, 210 South Main St. A funeral service will follow the visitation at the funeral home. Interment will be private in St. Joseph Cemetery, Amesbury, MA.
