Cristie Jo Palmer, who resided in Rudy, Arkansas, died Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at her home. She was born on June 5, 1976, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, to Paul Bruce Long and Georgia Marie (Heckard) Long. She was 46 years old.
There are changes regarding Cristie's memorial service and please share! A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 6th at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston. Burial of cremains will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Charleston, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Charleston.
She is survived by her husband, Craig Palmer; two sons, Taylor Matthews and Ethan Matthews, both of Fort Smith; a step-sister, Jodi Wells and husband David of Rudy; her father and step-mother, Bruce and Sharon Long of Mulberry; her mother, Georgia Thornton and companion Curtis Burnett of Fort Smith; three brothers, Mike Long and wife Brooklyn of Mulberry, Derrick Long of Mulberry, and Charlie Thornton of Fort Smith; four step-brothers, Brad Reeves and wife Mickey of Japan, Jason Reeves and wife Shalita of Missouri, Vince Rains and Brian Rains, both of Fort Smith; and a step-sister, Amy Gandy.
