Cristina Marlene Redeker, 51, of Mooresville, passed peacefully in the comfort of her home with family at her side on Sunday, June 23, 2024. She was born in Indianapolis to the late Frederick Redeker and Charlotte Ann (Kasperek) Redeker.
She was one who enjoyed caring for and helping others in any way she could. She was passionate about the Nehemiah House that helps folks that are struggling in one way or another.
With an eye for the not ordinary but extraordinary, Christina was incredibly artistic. She loved painting and any type of craft. Full of life, she had a unique style and truly was her own person. She leaves her family and friends all too soon, but with many memories and stories to share.
She will be missed and lovingly remembered by many including her daughters, Brittany (husband, Patrick) Cladovan of Hanahan, SC, Devany (husband, Alex) Redelman of Fort Myers, FL, and Allison DaVee of Indianapolis; son, Fred Wright of Martinsville; brother, Douglas (Lori) Redeker of Mooresville; sister, Jennifer (husband, Brian) Sutton of Evant, TX; and grandchildren, Jaxden, Charlotte, Izabella, Ruby, Bronson, and Petru.
In keeping with Cristina’s wishes, her earthly remains will be cremated and later laid to rest in White Lick Cemetery in Mooresville. The family will gather for an intimate memorial gathering at a later time.
