Crystal Woolums, age 38, of Kuhn Lake, Leesburg, passed away tragically due to a motorcycle accident on March 12, 2025, in Goshen, IN.
She was born on December 25, 1986, in LaGrange, Illinois, to Theodore Woolums & Marge Feldman Woolums. She grew up in the Chicago area and attended school there before moving to Kosciusko County in her early teens. She continued her education at Wawasee Schools later at Brown Mackie College, Fort Wayne.
She was a hardworking individual who was proud of her role as a surgical technician at Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital. Crystal’s commitment to her career was a reflection of her strong work ethic and her desire to help others.
Crystal was a devoted mother and professional. She was a vibrant individual who embraced life with enthusiasm. A true "mama bear" to many, she had a remarkable ability to connect with others and made friends effortlessly, rarely knowing a stranger. Her outgoing personality and warmth attracted people to her, creating a wide circle of friends and loved ones.
In her spare time, Crystal enjoyed being outdoors, enjoying activities such as gardening, bonfires, fishing, hunting, camping, and motorcycle riding. These interests brought joy to her life and created cherished memories with family and friends.
She leaves behind her children, Jacob Watkins, Elijah Watkins, and Jada Watkins; parents, Marge (Chuck) Potts and Theodore Woolums, as well as her siblings, Robert (Alyssa) Woolums, Shannon Humphrey, and Jasmine (Trevor) Spriggle. Each of them will miss her deeply.
