Curtis D. "Curt" Snider, 70, of Rockford passed away suddenly Saturday January 11, 2025 at Mercer Health in Coldwater. He was born August 4, 1954 in Celina, Ohio and was the son of Evelyn J. (Koontz) Stetler and the late Lewis Snider.
Curt graduated from Parkway High School. He married Cheryl L. (Vorhees) Snider, who preceded him in death on February 6, 2024.
He was a farmer and a truck driver prior to going to work at Plastipak as a fork lift driver. Curt liked to fish and hunt. He also loved to watch NASCAR races and The Cowboys.
In addition to his wife and father, he was preceded in death by his step-mother, Shirley Snider, his step-father, Dick Stetler, and two brothers, Dick and Mike Snider.
Surviving are two sons, Matt (Jennifer) Snider of Texas and Greg Snider of Celina; five brothers and sisters, Steve, Dan, Doug, Pam, and Lisa; and one grandson, Kyler Lane Snider of Texas.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Friday, January 17, 2025, at Ketcham Ripley Funeral Home, 111 West First Street, Rockford, Ohio 45882 with Pastor Stuart Wyatt officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery, 3750 US-33, Rockford, Ohio 45882.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm Friday January 17, 2025 at the funeral home.
