Curtis Alan Tegethoff of St. Peters, MO passed away on Thursday, July 24 at the age of 36.
He was the cherished son of Jim and Vicki Tegethoff; dear brother of Leah (Cory) Coldwell; loving Uncle Curtie to his two beloved nephews, Cooper and Jackson.
Curtis was born in St. Charles, MO. He received a bachelor’s degree in accounting with a minor in German from the University of Iowa. He received a master’s in accounting from UMKC. He obtained CPA certification and was employed by Volpe Accounting.
He enjoyed music and was an accomplished guitarist. He also played the piano. He enjoyed playing ice hockey, tennis and loved sports. An avid outdoorsman, he also enjoyed hunting and spending time at the family farm.
Curtis had a never-ending thirst for knowledge. He was always reading and was an encyclopedia of history and music knowledge.
He’ll be remembered as a fun, caring and loving individual. He was loved deeply and will be missed and fondly remembered by all those who loved him.
The family will hold a private service in remembrance of Curtis.
