Curtis D. Terhune Jr., 59, of Dunnegan, MO passed away Monday, June 23, 2025. He was born April 1, 1966, to Curtis and Cheryl Terhune in San Pedro, CA.
Curtis was a wanderer. Never calling one place home for too long, at least until he met his future wife and daughter in October of 2002. Curtis and Delta were married in a small ceremony in February of 2004 and the three of them quickly settled into a wonderful life together.
The only thing Curtis loved beside his family, was being a truck driver. That man could put down some miles but was never too tired to call every night to check on his family and hear about their day.
Fishing with his brother-in-law, Billy Nichols was his absolute favorite way to spend his free time. He also loved playing D&D with his nephew, Johnathan.
Curtis was preceded in death by his mother, Cheryl Terhune; his sister, Keisha Vitale; his uncle, Gene Bowsk.
Those he left behind includes his loving wife, Delta Nichols Terhune; his daughter, Izraylia Nichols-Terhune; and his sisters and brothers, Angel Starr, Rodrick Terhune, Terry Terhune, and Dodie Kipp.
A Celebration of Life cook out for family and friends will be announced at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services of Springfield, MO.
