A Celebration of Life Services was held for Mr. Curtis Zeagler, age 85, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 405 East 5th Street in Homer, LA, on Friday, June 14, 2024, at 3:00 p.m.
Mr. Zeagler was born December 13, 1938, in Columbia, LA, to Madison Andrew Zeagler and Darliss Marie Varnell Zeagler. He entered into rest on June 11, 2024, in Arcadia, LA. Mr. Zeagler as a young boy helped his family out on the farm and also earned a little extra money at the local gas station. As a result, by pumping gas and working on cars he became a good mechanic. Mr. Zeagler loved fishing and camping on the Ouachita River with his family. He worked in Homer at the Fire Cracker stand in the Brookshires parking lot for several years.
He is preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Chadwick Zeagler, Dalco Zeagler and Larry Zeagler; and son-in-law, Michael Roberts.
He is survived by the mother of his six children, Patsy Williams Zeagler; four sons, Michael Zeagler of Shongaloo, LA, Kenneth Zeagler of Homer, LA, Glen Zeagler of Homer, LA, and Randy Zeagler of Shongaloo, LA; two daughters, Teresa Zeagler Hickman and husband Neal and Barbara Zeagler Roberts all of Homer, LA: eleven grandchildren, Brooks Stapleton, Cody Howard, Joshua Zeagler, Heather Zeagler Murphy, Jacob Zeagler, Casey Zeagler, Dillon Zeagler, Michael Dallas Roberts, Caleb Roberts, Matthew Roberts, and Loranda Roberts Solomon; eleven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
