Cydnee Stuart

North Ogden - Cydnee Wiese Stuart, 71, passed away on July 17, 2025 after a valiant battle with cancer. She faced her illness with incredible strength and grace, her faith never wavering.
She was born on Christmas Day 1953, in Ogden, Utah, to Herbert and Betty Wiese. She attended North Ogden Elementary, Wahlquist Junior High & North Ogden Junior High. It was at Weber High School where she met her future husband; Gary William Stuart. They were married on September 6, 1975 in Ogden and would have been celebrating their 50th anniversary this year.
She was a graduate of Weber State University and then chose to stay home with her children until they entered school. She then took her skills to the IRS where she worked as a tax examiner for 26 years and made many lasting friendships.
Cydnee was a passionate gardner specializing in both flowers and vegetables. She enjoyed cooking and canning for her family, reading books and doing puzzles. She loved sports and was a die-hard fan of the Utah Utes. She was also VERY proud of her 10 Grandkids and if they had an activity, you would be certain to find her there.
Cydnee was a lifelong member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, where she taught Sunday school for over 50 years and made many friends who became like family.
She is survived by her beloved husband Gary, her three children Alex (Stacia) Stuart, Ashley (William) Taylor, and Adam (Jhormy) Stuart; ten grandchildren, Allison Stuart, Kamryn Stuart, Riley Taylor, Alexis Stuart, Wyatt Taylor, Garrett Stuart, Cydnee Taylor, Heath Stuart, Graham Stuart, Madelyn Stuart with one on the way, her brother and sister in-laws and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Deena Parker and father and mother in-law William and Helen Stuart.
We rejoice in her promise of eternal life. "Death is but sleeping, why should we weep?" Until we meet again, we love you!
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 25, 2025 at 11 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 3329 Harrison Blvd with Pastor Mark Christ officiating. Friends may call on Friday from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. at the church. Services are under the direction of Myers Mortuary in Ogden.
Internment, Ben Lomond Cemetery, North Ogden.
