Cynthia K. Rohloff, born April 30th, 1952. At the age of 73, she passed away unexpectedly August 18th, 2025 at St. Cloud CentraCare hospital. She was surrounded by her Loving husband Lowell, 3 surviving boys and daughter, as well as her daughter-in-law, granddaughter and her husband.

Cindy was born in Fergus Falls, Minnesota. Her parents who preceded her in death, are George Llemuel Thiel Jr. and Joyce Marilyn Ouren. She married Lowell Rohloff on October 26th, 1968, and theirs is a true love story: a testament to commitment, devotion and unconditional love through the good times and the bad, just as they vowed on their wedding day.

Cindy was a loving sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and great grandmother. She enjoyed having people around; whether children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, or all of the above and their friends. All were welcome to her home. She was happiest hosting any kind of event: just bring your friends and hang out. Cooking, baking, music, and crocheting were her hobbies and joys. If you left hungry, it was your own fault. The fridge was always full of food and drinks. Candy jars were full and cabinets were stocked.

She was always there to listen and try to give advice. A helping hand.

After spending many years as a housewife, raising 6 kids on the farm and being the wrestling/baseball/ softball/basketball/football mom, Cindy went to work at the high school in Morris. She was the cafeteria lady. She received her GED from Morris MN. Then she began in the food service at UMM in 1987, where she worked until 2014 and decided to retire. Lowell and Cindy had built a home at the farm. It was a dream of Cindys to have a cabin or home on the lake. In April 2007, they purchased a home on Lake Amelia near Glenwood, Minnesota. They used it as basically a summer home until 2014, when they sold the farm and moved to the lake house full time. They spent the next several years improving the house and having fun on the lake with family and friends.

Cindy was preceded in death by her parents George and Joyce Thiel, sister Sue, and sons Daniel and Corey,

Cindy is survived by: her husband, Lowell; sisters, Beth Harter (Tom) and Connie Charles (Alan); brother, Allen Thiel (Dawn); sons, Mike Rohloff, Jamie Rohloff (Tricia), David Rohloff (Jean); daughter, Tammy Kaufman (Adam); daughter-in-law, Dawn Rohloff; grandchildren, Jared (Anna), JoJo, Jackson, Sydney (Justin), Joshua, Brady, Charlie, Mason, Aidan, Max, Ashley, Brendan, and Brody; great-grandchildren, Savea and Renn; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other friends and family.
