Cynthia Breton

Cynthia (Theriault) Breton, left this world on August 31, surrounded by her family, after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. She was born on October 31, 1953, in Beverly, where she attended St. Mary Star of the Sea School and Bishop Fenwick High School. She was a kind, gentle person, with a sharp sarcasm, who loved connecting with others. A devout Catholic, she was always of service and listened when others were in need. Cynthia had fond memories of working at Beverly National Bank and, after raising her children, holding various positions at Landmark School. Cynthia enjoyed traveling with her family to Florida each year and hosting many memorable family gatherings.
Cynthia is survived by her husband, Bruce Breton and their four children, Jason Breton, Jessica Cargile, Kristina Hoem and Katlyn Breton LeGassey and their spouses; brother, Philip Theriault; sister, Brenda Nelson; sisters-in-law, Sandra Theriault and Paulette Breton and many nieces, nephews and grandchildren. Cynthia's love for her family was palpable. She was a dedicated wife and caring mother. She will long be remembered for her smile, her laugh, and the kindness she bestowed on others. She will be deeply missed by many.
Cynthia's funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary Star of the Sea, 253 Cabot St., Beverly, on Thursday, September 7, at 10:30am. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours at the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot St., Beverly, Wednesday, September 6, from 4-7pm. Burial at St. Mary Cemetery, Beverly.
