Marguerite "Peggi" Bessette, age 75, of Beverly, passed away peacefully surrounded by friends and neighbors at Beverly Hospital, Monday, September 29, 2025, after a courageous battle with leukemia. She was born on March 17, 1950, to the late Ovila Bessette and Hazel Parker.
Peggi was a dedicated worker for many years at Business Professional Exchange, a call center in Beverly, MA.
Peggi had a special place in her heart for her beautiful cat, "Blizzard". "Blizz" was a loyal companion that never left Peggi's side throughout her illness.
Peggi will be fondly remembered for being a loving, caring, and generous woman. Always giving her time unselfishly. She greeted everyone with a cheerful smile, showing kindness to all and making others happy. She loved passing out gift bags filled with Lindt chocolates to all of her neighbors, coworkers, and friends. She loved decorating for all holidays. All of the neighborhood dogs knew their walks always included a stop on Peggi's porch for a bone and a friendly pat. In her free time, Peggi loved to color on her tablet.
A private burial will be held for Peggi at St. Mary Cemetery in Beverly. Arrangements are by Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly. Please send your special memories of Peggi to www.campbellfuneral.com.
