Mrs. Cynthia Cluxton, born December 26, 1959, passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at the age of 64. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Jerry Cluxton, her sons Brandon Cluxton (Jessica), Mitch Cluxton (Megan), her grand-kids Terence Burks, Deanna Cluxton (Evan),Tori Cluxton, Kylee Cluxton and Carson Cluxton, her sister Donna Minnick (Hunter), her brothers Scott Newby, Bobby Newby (Monica) and several cousins, nieces and nephews, and many other beloved family members and friends. Included in that group is Cindy's special friend, Watha Tucker. With her homegoing, she was reunited with many loved ones that made it home to be with the Lord before her, to include her sister, Dana Deanna Newby, her father, Leldon Newby and her mother, Thelma Newby.
Cindy loved her family, friends and had a servant's heart. She enjoyed many hobbies and interests. Some of those were quilting, playing and singing music, spending time with her friends and family (and her sweet Pearl). Most of all, Cindy lived her life with a love for Jesus. She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church in Arab, Alabama.
Eastside Baptist Church will receive friends and family at 1:00PM on Saturday, March 2, 2024 for her Celebration of Life, with service to follow.
Pastor Kenny Mullins and Bro. Bobby Newby will be officiating.
