Cynthia McCoig Langston

Cynthia McCoig Langston, age 68, wife of Johnny Langston, passed away, Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital.
She was born on May 3, 1955 in Aiken, South Carolina and was the daughter of Lillian Jeanette Glenn McCoig and the late Thomas C. McCoig. Cynthia was the former Office Manager for Dr. Michelle Hagenbuch and Dr. Brian Weirick. She also was a Professional Medical Coder for the Upstate Wound Center. Cynthia was a member of The First "A Pentecostal Fellowship" where she loved to sing. The joy of her life was her grandchildren and great-grandchild and her puppy, "Bingo".
In addition to her husband and mother, Cynthia is survived by her son, John Eric Langston of Laurens; her daughter, Shannon L Riddle (Jason) of Laurens; her sisters, Judy Kelly of Belton and Carolyn Thorne of Conyers, GA.; her 6 grandchildren and one great-grandchild (with 2 on the way).
Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 27, 2023 at 2:00 at The First "A Pentecostal Fellowship" with Rev. James Owens and Rev. Norman Black officiating. The family will greet friends prior to the service from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM at the church. Burial will follow the service at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family asked for donations to be made to The First Outreach Ministry, P O Box 1787, Laurens, SC 29360.
Gray Funeral Home of Laurens is assisting the Langston family with arrangements.
