Cynthia Ann Mauldin, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on October 1, 2025, at AdventHealth Sebring. Born on December 15, 1955, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Cynthia touched the lives of those around her with warmth and compassion.

For many years, she dedicated herself to her career as a restaurant manager at Master Grill in Mississippi, where her leadership and dedication became a hallmark of her professional life. Yet, it was in the roles of wife and mother that Cynthia truly shone. Her family was her greatest treasure, and she loved her children and grandchildren deeply, nurturing them with a love that was evident to all who knew her.

Cynthia moved to Frostproof 50 years ago, where she created a loving home filled with laughter and artistic expression. She was passionate about artwork, particularly drawing and remodeling spaces to make them reflect the joy and creativity she carried within her.

She is survived by her cherished husband, Tim Mauldin; her daughters, Jennifer Delage and her companion Jamie Shehen of Ocean Springs, Mississippi, Stephanie Pickett and her husband Leroy of Frostproof, Tiffany Pickard of Ocean Springs, Mississippi, and Melissa Mauldin of Wauchula; her son, Ryan Mauldin of Ocean Springs, Mississippi, and her son, Zack Mauldin of Lakeland. Cynthia was also blessed with twelve grandchildren, who will carry forward her legacy of love and kindness.

Cynthia was preceded in death by her first husband, Peppy DeLage, her brother Donny Sharpe, and her brother Johnny Phelps. She is also mourning the loss of her parents, Riley and Lillian Phelps, along with one great-grandchild.

As we remember Cynthia, we celebrate a life filled with love, art, and the incredible impact she made on everyone around her. Her spirit will forever live in the hearts of her family and friends, guiding them with her enduring love and unwavering support.
