Cynthia, age 54, went to her heavenly home on Thursday, January 27, 2022. She was a native of Geneva, Alabama and longtime resident of Kentwood, LA. Cynthia was a good-hearted loving soul. She never met a stranger; she'd strike up a conversation with a complete stranger and before you knew it, they're making plans to have dinner together. Her family always came first. Cynthia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister who is already dearly missed by all who knew her.
Cynthia leaves behind her loving husband, Dennis Phillips; children, John David Phillips, Josie Ngo, and Jeremy Presson; grandchildren; Savannah Phillips, Everett Phillips, and Mary-Beth Ngo; siblings, Patricia Hodges, Tony Hodges, Timmy Hodges, Mark Hodges, and Lisa Watson; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Cynthia is preceded in death by her parents, H.L. and Birdie Hodges; and brothers, Gregory and Chris Hodges.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations please be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, thank you.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a visitation from the chapel of Pine Ridge Methodist Church in Kentwood, LA. on Monday, January 31, 2022 from 4:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
