Abbeville-Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, August 27, 2023, at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Cynthia Richard Dartez, 66, who died Thursday, August 24, 2023, at Oschner Lafayette General Hospital. She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Deacon Joshua LeBlanc officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Travis Richard, Grant Richard, Jeremy Richard, Darell Richard, Brian Richard, and Brain Landry.
She is survived by her two daughters, Mandy D. Richard and her husband, Travis, and Heather E. Dartez; grandchildren, Bailey Peterson and her husband, Bailey, Grant Richard, and Norris Benoit; brothers, Darell Richard and his wife, Mona, Nathan Richard, and Brian Richard; and sister, Belinda Landry and her husband, Brian.
She was preceded in death by her husband. Bradley Dartez; parents, Joseph Lawrence Richard and the former Marjorie Touchet; and brother, Gregory Richard.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles St., on Sunday, August 27, 2023, from 9:00 AM until time of services. A rosary is being prayed at 2:30 PM.
