D'Arrius "D'bo" Powell
March 18,1997 - May22, 2025
D'Arius Powell was born March 18,1997 to Russell Powell and Timika Elkins in Kansas City, Missouri.
He is proceeded in transition by maternal grandparent Tanis Franklin and Freddie Johnson; paternal grandfather Oscar Powell, elder brothers Marquin Elkins, and Byron Oglesby.
Received hie education in the Kansas City, Missouri school district graduating from Grandview High School in 2015. He had a passion for cooking and went into food service as cook always finding joy in bringing people together through food and love.
D'Arrius was a proud Grandview resident, he was known for his warm spirit,bright smile and deep faith in Jesus Christ.
He leaves to cherish his memory; his paternal grandmother Jacqueline "Jackie" Powell; mother Timika Elkins; father Russell Powell; uncles Rahiem Johnson, Michael Powell and Fred Powell; aunt Chantay Armstrong (Fred); siblings Russell Powell, Jr. (Tanisha), Chiquelah Powell, Freddie Powell, Lee Mavge, Mieshia Hamilton (Rahtez) and a host of cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, June 9, 2025 at the ELITE Funeral Chapel 11525 Blue Ridge Blvd. KCMO, Interment was at XII Gates Memorial Gardens, KCMO
