Dale A. Danner

Dale A. Danner, 66, of Newville, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 21, 2023.

He was born March 12, 1957, in Carlisle to the late Alfred and Kathryn Jane (Negley) Danner.

Dale was a 1975 graduate of Big Spring High School. He built houses for Danner Construction with his brother for 24 years. Dale retired, after 26 years of employment, from Beams Carpet in March of 2023. He was a man of God, and his faith was very important to him. Dale was a longtime member of Shepherds Gate Worship Center where he served as a Sunday School teacher. He enjoyed hunting and spending time in the mountains. Dale loved his Dodge truck, riding his motorcycle, and the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was a very loyal friend to many. More than anything Dale adored his family, especially his grandchildren. He tried his best to never miss any of the events or games they were a part of.

Dale is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Brenda K. (Bell) Danner of Newville; two children, Amy L. (husband Jeremy) Santana of Boiling Springs and Dustin A. (wife Sarah) Danner of Newville; four grandchildren, Isaiah Santana, Sutton Swigert, Elijah Santana, and Willow Danner; one sister, Arlene (husband Leroy) Grimes of Walnut Bottom; one brother, David Danner of Texas; one sister-in-law, Janice Danner of Newville; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents, Dale was preceded in death by two brothers, Daniel and Mark Danner; and one sister, Ovetta Nesbit.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 29, 2023, at Carlisle Evangelical Free Church, 290 Petersburg Road Carlisle, PA 17013 with Pastor Douglas E. Coldsmith, Jr. officiating. Burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
