Dale Eckley Obituary

Dale was a 1956 graduate of Bellefonte High School. He went on to serve his country in the United States Army and worked as a plumber. He attended Coleville Wesleyan Church and enjoyed bowling, fishing, camping, hunting, playing cards with friends and traveling. He was also a lifetime member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, Bellefonte, PA Lodge #1094.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by four siblings, Fred Eckley, Verna Kline, Edgar Eckley, Jr., and David Eckley and one brother-in-law, Don Kline. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Helen M. Eckley of Bellefonte, PA; three children, Lisa Bostwick (Bruce) of Leesburg, VA, Dale Eckley, Jr. (Lori) of Bellefonte, PA and Douglas Eckley (Laurie) of Boalsburg, PA; six grandchildren, Dale Heather, Brooke, Daren, Darek, Tyler and Kylie and four great-grandchildren with two on the way!
A visitation will be held Monday, July 14, 2025 from 11:00am – 1:00pm with a memorial service immediately following at 1:00pm at Haky/Georgiana Centre County Funeral Home, 1034 Benner Pike, State College, PA 16801. Inurnment will take place at Centre County Memorial Park.
An online guestbook may be signed and condolences left for the family at www.hakygeorgianafh.com.
