Dale Eugene Huff
Dale was born August 5, 1956 in East Liberty Ohio.
He passed away peacefully in his home in Murfreesboro Tennessee on Jan 25, 2023. He was 66 years old.
Dale is survived by his loving wife Linda, and his son James.
He is preceded in death by his youngest son, DJ Huff, His sister Karen Huff Jones and brother Jerry Huff.
Dale grew up in the Akron, Ohio area with his parents and 5 siblings. In high school he met his longtime sweetheart Linda and post high school joined the Navy where he started to cut hair. Dale married Linda in 1979 and moved to Tennessee in 1984, and in 1989 and 1993 had their children, James V Huff and DJ Huff.
Dale wore many hats in his life, and Music was one of his many loves (besides Linda). Dale started singing in the church choir in his youth and went on to sing in Barbershop Quartets, and later the World Renowned Music City Chorus in Nashville, and enjoyed performing all around the country.
He also was a Master Barber for many years, owning many salons including Dale's Cut & Putt in Smyrna Tennessee.
Dale suffered for many years with his health, but was blessed to receive a full heart transplant in October, 2017, which quite literally saved his life. The family would like to sincerely thank ALL of the medical personnel that have had parts in his continued recovery. Your continued care and support mean so much.
Dale was an avid sports fan, His favorite teams include the Cleveland Browns and the Tennessee Vols. Dale was also an excellent golfer.
Dale knew just about everyone in town and he blessed so many with his light in this world, the family is comforted to know he is no longer suffering and can finally rest in the hands of the Lord.
