Dale L. Kinney Sr., 70, of Midland, peacefully departed this life on Friday, November 14, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. Born in Ohioville, Pennsylvania, on January 10, 1955, Dale was the cherished son of the late Lawrence Howard Kinney and Mary Elizabeth Kinney. A true free spirit, he reveled in the exhilarating rush of the wind as he rode his beloved Harley. Dale was a devoted family man who took immense pride in his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, always offering unwavering support and love. His expertise in logging and his craftsmanship in carpentry were testaments to his hardworking nature. Beyond his exceptional roles as a father, grandfather, and brother, Dale was a treasured friend to many. He possessed a rare gift for empathizing with others and advocating for their needs, often putting their well-being ahead of his own. Dale was genuinely one of the good guys, with a heart of gold. His unconditional love for his family and his selfless willingness to lend a hand to anyone in need will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew him. "Death leaves a heartache no one can heal; love leaves a memory no one can steal." Dale is lovingly remembered by his children, Dale (Kayla) Kinney II, Shahna Roberts, Shane Kitzmiller, and Jimmy Kinney; his sisters, Betty Marchegiano, Shirley Asbert, Doris Javens, and Mary Alpert; his brother, Harold Kinney; as well as his grandchildren, Joshua Dale Kinney III, Ashlee (Matthew) Allison, Lindsay Roberts, and Sierra Rozich, along with his adored great-grandchildren, Koda, Rylee, and Cole Allison. We invite you to join Dale's family in celebrating his remarkable life at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester on Saturday, November 22, at 4:00 p.m., with Pastor Matt Llewellyn officiating. Memorial visitation will be held at the funeral home from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. For those wishing to honor Dale's memory with flowers, arrangements can be made through his obituary page at www.arnerfuneralchapel.com.
