Dale H "Buddy" Parks Sr.

Dale H. Park Sr., better known as "Buddy", age 77, of Bridgeport, Connecticut, entered eternal rest on October 9, 2025.
Born in Derby, Connecticut, on October 13, 1947, Dale was the eldest child of Harold Parks, Sr. and Harriet Martin- Parks of Ansonia, CT.
He was educated in the Ansonia Public School System, graduating from Ansonia High School before proudly enlisting in the U.S. Army as part of the 82nd Airborne Division in 1966. Following his honorable discharge, Dale returned to Bridgeport, where he worked at General Electric in the Cable and Wiring Department.
Later, he built a long-standing career as a lineman with IBEW Local 42 until his retirement.
Dale's life was rich with hobbies and creativity. He had a love for Fishing, Bowling, Reading, listening to and recording music of all genres. Sketching and drawing-his art appeared on everything from paper to canvas to clothing, leaving behind cherished pieces of his talent.
Dale leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife Arlene E. Santana Parks, Son: Dale H. Park Jr. (Tammy) of Massachusetts, Daughters: Deirdre "Kandy" Parks, Tresha Parks Olin (Terrell), both of Bridgeport, Siblings - Harold "Teddy" Parks (Janice) of New Haven, Michael Parks, Linda Cyrus (Abraham), Kevin Parks, Kimon Parks, Beverly Parks (Chavon), Leon Parks all of Ansonia, Brothers-in-laws Russell Santana (Angela) & Michael Spencer of Bridgeport, Grandchildren - Dale Joshua (Kayleigh), Alexia, Santana, Carleigh, Cameron of Massachusetts and Florida, Ja'Quin, Khadejah, Ceondra, Jalil, Great-grandchildren - Kori, Kali, Jeremiah, and Jahkari. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends who loved him dearly.
