Dale Anne Robinson of Bethel Springs, Tennessee passed away on October 4, 2023 at Lynnfield Place in Selmer where she had been a resident since May 2023.

Dale was born on October 30, 1939 in McNairy County, Tennessee to William Greer Mullins and Jewell Vadine Mullins. She was their only child.

The Mullins’s moved from McNairy County to East Peoria, Illinois in 1951 where Dale attended East Peoria High School, where she met James Larry Robinson, whom she would marry on March 14, 1959 in Peoria. After living briefly in East Peoria, they moved to Sunnyland, Illinois in 1962, where they would live for the next twenty-nine years and where they would raise their three sons: Randy (Laura) of Lake Jackson, Texas; David of East Peoria, Illinois; Sean of Spring Bay, Illinois. When her sons were older, Dale reentered the work force, first at World Drug Store, where she had first worked as a teenager, and then as a teacher at Peoria Area Christian School.

In 1991, shortly after Jim’s retirement, the Robinsons returned to McNairy County where they purchased some property and built a home west of Bethel Springs. They were delighted to be back living among all of their beloved relatives. They would live together there until Jim passed away on September 23, 2018. When her health would no longer allowed her to remain at home, she moved to Lynnfield Place in May 2023.

Dale is survived by her three sons as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends whom she loved dearly and who love her.
