Dale W. Smith, 74, of Jerry City, Ohio passed away June 16, 2025. He was born June 1, 1951 in Bowling Green to the late Clyde and Marie (Loop) Smith. He married LeeAnn Snyder on June 8, 1979 and she survives.
Dale served his country proudly in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He participated in Findlay Flag City Honor Flight with his daughter Jamie June 3, 2025.
He retired from the Wood County Court House Maintenance Department. was a former Jerry City Council Member and enjoyed spending time golfing, fishing, bowling, controlling RC planes and watching Gun Smoke. Dale took great pride in taking care of his lawn.
Along with his wife of 46 years, LeeAnn, Dale is survived by his children Jamie Smith of Bowling Green and Jake Smith of Bowling Green, grandchildren Oaklyn and Ashton, sister Barbara Lloyd and mother-in-law Gloria Snyder.
Visitation will be held on Friday June 20, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Dunn Funeral Home, located in the Historical District of Bowling Green at 408 W. Wooster St.
Memorial contributions may be given in his memory to Findlay Flag City Honor Flight.
