Damar Stroman

Damar J. Stroman, 45, of Pennington, NJ, entered his eternal rest on Saturday, July 27, 2024, surrounded by the warmth and love of his family and friends. Born on February 14, 1979, in Trenton, NJ, to the late Lorraine Stroman, Damar's life was a testament to love, resilience, and unyielding spirit.
Damar's early years were shaped by his education in the local Catholic schools, culminating in his graduation from Trenton Central High School in 1999. As a young man, he demonstrated a strong work ethic, beginning his career at McGraw Hill Publishing (S&P Global) while still in high school. Over the years, Damar explored various fields, working in security, hospitality, and sales. His final role as a driver was particularly fulfilling, allowing him to connect with people from all walks of life-a reflection of his genuine zest for life.
Affectionately known as "Mar" by those closest to him, Damar's passions were as diverse as his career. He was an automobile enthusiast, a lover of travel, a keen shopper, passionate about music, and an avid documentary viewer. His meticulous nature shone through in his love for building miniature models. Each of these hobbies illustrated his curiosity and joy for the intricate details of life.
Above all, Damar's love for his daughter, Sinaia, was boundless. As a dedicated father, he found immense pride and joy in her achievements, particularly in basketball and softball. His devotion to Sinaia was unwavering, and his pride was palpable whenever he spoke of her. Damar's battle with illness never defined him; instead, his strength and resilience inspired everyone around him.
In addition to his mother, Damar is preceded in death by his beloved grandmother, Margaret Stroman. He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with his daughter, Sinaia Stroman-Hills of Augusta, GA; his brothers, Paul Stroman and Nick Jackson, both of Trenton; cousins, Richard Adkins (Deanna) of Willingboro, NJ, Phyliss Walker, and Carol Adkins-Smith, all of Trenton; his fiancée, Anastasia Mobley; special aunts, Tracy Epps and Sheila Holman; godmother, JoAnn McKinnon; and a host of family members on Cavell Street, as well as many friends and other relatives.
Damar's infectious love for life, his kindness, and his unyielding spirit will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who had the privilege to know him.
