Damon Christopheker Shearing

Damon Christopheker Shearing was born July 21,1980 in Newport News, VA. He was the third child to his biological mother Glenda Shearing. Miss Shearing had taken ill and wasn't able to care for him. Due to her illness her cousin, Mrs. Forestine Edwards, adopted Damon and his siblings Allen and Tara into her lovely home in Hillside, New Jersey. As a child Damon loved playing sports and was very talented at drawing, loved playing checkers and was an excellent student at math. Damon attended Hillside High School and graduated in 1998. After graduating Hillside High, Damon was gainfully employed at FedEx for many years.
Damon relocated to Raleigh, NC and gained employment at the Slim Jim Company where he worked many years before moving back to New Jersey where he worked a variety of jobs. Damon always loved his family and friends and himself a family gathering. He was always the life of the party rapping, singing, laughing, and telling jokes. He had a passion for cars and music, they were everything to him. He loved to dress nice all the time and people just loved being around him.
Damon leaves to cherish his memories: his Sisters, Melinda White (Mike) of Newport News, VA, Dana Reed (Dustin) of Hampton, GA, Tara Edwards of Raleigh, NC, Brooke Boone (Randy) of Roanoke Rapids, NC, and Amelia Kinard (Alvin)of Raleigh, NC; and his Brothers, Allen Edwards of Manhattan, NY and Barrett Pickett of Newark, NJ. Damon's Mothers, Glenda Shearing and Forestine Edwards, preceded him in death. He also leaves a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends.
