With a very heavy heart we announce the passing of Dana Michelle Zampedri, 55 years old, where she passed away at home Oct. 21, 2023  She had ongoing health issues for a very long time.  She was born Feb. 21, 1968 to JoAnn Y. Kennedy (John) and Wayne E. Huffer (Debbie) in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She was the oldest of two daughters and two brothers.   She graduated from Clearfield High School 1986.  She was offered a full-ride scholarship to EWU in Cheney, Washington 1988 and was a collegiate athlete.   She worked for the IRS and later as a Medical Assistant.  Dana blessed us with three amazing children. She loved music, camping, Coca-Cola, random trips with her children.  She was a very loving, kind and caring mother and friend.   Dana is survived by two sons, Skyler Hanson and DJ Zampedri; one daughter, Katie Zampedri of Clinton, Utah;    her mother, JoAnn Y. Kennedy (John) Roy, Utah; her father, Wayne E. Huffer (Debbie) Mesquite, Nevada;  sister, Tracy Barnes (Jeff) of Midland, Georgia;  brothers, David Huffer (Tamara), Arizona and Jason Huffer, Nevada; nieces, Shailee Barnes (Hannah) and Mackenzee Guillaume of Columbus, GGeorgia.  Also surviving are Aunt Linda J. Smith, St. George, Utah; Aunt Linda Huffer and Aunt Cheri Huffer-Alt, both of Madison, Wisconsin; uncles: Ben Abeyta, Perry, Georgia; Joe Abeyta and Jerry Abeyta, Ogden, Utah; Charlie Silva and Art Brady of Ogden, Utah;  as well as many cousins.   She is preceded in death by her spouse, Dennis Jody Zampedri,  who passed passed away in 2018.   She is also preceded in death by her grandparents Ben and Nellie Abeyta and Donald and Charlotte Huffer.    We are at peace knowing she is not suffering anymore; but she will always be with us in spirit.    In lieu of flowers; please send a donation to the surviving children.
