North Augusta, SC – Funeral Services for Danette "Dani" McGee, 61, who entered into rest December 22, 2025, will be conducted Tuesday afternoon, December 30, 2025, at 2 o'clock from Woodlawn United Methodist Church, Rev. Sonny Mason and Rev. Jim McCollough officiating. Interment will follow in Pineview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. McGee was born March 11, 1964, in Augusta, GA to William and Joy Schneider. She was a longtime member of Woodlawn United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir and was active on the worship team, administrative council and held various other leadership positions. Mrs. McGee was a member of Golden Glow Chapter #76 Order of the Eastern Star. She worked at Piedmont Augusta as a Medical Records Coordinator. Mrs. McGee was an avid Clemson football fan and was an animal lover. In recent years, Dani enjoyed traveling with her sister as they ventured on their ABC trips working their way through the alphabet most recently the letters "L" and "M" as they visited London and Manchester England. She was preceded in death by her mother, Joy Schneider.

Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Michael McGee; daughter, Christine McGee (Miracle McGee); grandchildren, Mavin and Echo; father, William Schneider; sister, Joy Agee (Montie); nephews, Billy Agee (Jessica) and Preston Agee (Christa); great niece, Mazie; great nephews, Carter, Sanders and Emmett.

Pallbearers will be Billy Agee, Montie Agee and Philip Streetman.

Memorials may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, www.woundedwarriorproject.org

Mr. McGee, I am so sorry for your loss. I work in the gift shop at Piedmont and you purchased an angel for your wife. I took it to her room for you. She was so sweet and we prayed for her. Her faith showed in her words. May God give you and the family the strength you'll need and bri g peace and comfort to you.
