It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Daniel Anderson, beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend, who left us too soon on February 26, 2025 at his lifelong home in Lakeville, MA. He was 65 years old. Daniel was a graduate of Apponequet Regional High School class of 1978. He went on to get his Master Electrician license from Wentworth College in 1985. He was the proud owner of Anderson-Gee Electric, established in 1989.
Daniel was known for his infectious laugh that could light up any room. Whether it was a silly joke, a funny story, or a moment of pure joy, his laughter was impossible to resist, and it echoed in the hearts of all who knew him. His smile, laughter and big hugs were a gift that will be missed by family and friends alike.
Above all, Daniel was devoted to his family. He shared a deep, unwavering love for his wife, Christine (Chrissy), with whom he spent many unforgettable years traveling and creating memories. Their adventures together were full of joy, laughter, and love, and they were a true testament to the strength of their bond together.
As a grandfather, Daniel cherished every moment with his grandkids. His eyes would light up when they were around, and he reveled in the simple joys of playing, teaching, and guiding them through life. His legacy will live on in their hearts and the lessons he imparted with kindness, humor, and love.
Daniel was a person who valued life's small moments, loved with a generous spirit, had a strong faith in God and brought warmth to everyone he encountered. He had an incredible ability to make others feel seen, heard, and appreciated. His caring nature, unshakeable optimism, and laughter will forever echo in the lives of those who had the privilege of knowing him.
Danny is survived by his beloved wife, Christine, his sons Phillip Gee (wife Anna) and Peter Gee (wife Kiersten), his grandchildren John, William and Ellsley. He was the brother to Bryant Anderson (wife Teresa), Janice Barry (husband Gerry), David Anderson (wife Ute) and step brother to Kristin Friedlaender. Danny was an amazing uncle to Kristin Shuler (and her children Malia and Eddie), Kim Brennan (and her children Kaden, Kole and Kollin), Derek Anderson (and his children Brock and Dottie), Mikaela Anderson, Shawn Anderson Kendra Martin (and her children Blake and Asher) and to Johnny, Cody, Mikey and Jacoby. Daniel is also survived by many relatives and friends who will miss him dearly. He is preceded in death by both his parents and step-parents, Bryant and Karen Anderson and Mary-Jane and Earl Collins.
A celebration of life will be held on March 16, 2025 from 2-4pm at the Central Congregational Church (2 Webster St. Middleboro, MA) to honor and remember the joy and love that Daniel shared with us all.
We will forever cherish his laughter, his love, and the precious moments we shared. He may be gone, but his spirit and warmth will remain with us always.
