John Dolan Obituary

John graduated with honors from Apponequet Regional High School in 2007, later earning his bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Northeastern University. He dedicated his professional life to his work as an Auto Body Technician at Sha-Nic Auto Body & Repair, where he was known for his skill and commitment.
Faith was an integral part of John's life. He was a devoted communicant at Sts. Martha & Mary Church in Lakeville, where he actively participated in community services. Additionally, John was proud to be a member of the Knights of Columbus and a supportive participant in Alcoholics Anonymous, celebrating over eight years of sobriety.
John's passion for life was evident in his love for New England sports and his deep enthusiasm for Corvettes. Above all, he was a devoted fiancé to Kayley Roda and a loving father to their cherished children, Makenna, Kayden, and Lyllianna. His family was his world, and his love and commitment to them will be profoundly missed.
He is survived by his fiancé Kayley Roda, their three children, and his parents, Kevin and Catherine Dolan. He is also survived by his brother, Jim Dolan, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and in-laws Carolyn and Paul DeWolfe.
Visitation for John will take place on Sunday, December 29, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home, located at 280 Bedford Street, Lakeville, MA 02347. A funeral mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, December 30, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Sts. Martha & Mary Church, 354 Bedford Street, Lakeville, MA 02347. Following the mass, John will be laid to rest in Saint Mary's Cemetery on Wood Street in Middleborough.
In this time of sorrow, we invite all those whose lives were touched by John to join us in honoring his memory and celebrating his life. May he rest in peace.

To the Dolan Family, I am so saddened by John's passing. He was such a sweet and gentle guy. Came to my house for years and was always a pleasure to have . He went to school with Bryanna and she enjoyed his company. John was sweet, kind and loving and will be missed by many. Bryanna wants Kathy to know she is sending her a hug . May the Lord wrap him in HIS arms on his arrival into heaven. God bless the whole Dolan family. Gone too soon, but forever remembered. Madeleine Baptiste

Such sad news, I am not sure what to say. John will live on in his children and in the hearts of those who love him. He always had a smile and kind word every time I ran into him at Savas or the gas station. As a boy I remember him coming over and hanging out and of course all the boys hanging spending time at the skatepark and the Braverman's house. Sending lots of love to his surviving family and friends. Gone too soon.
