Daniel Clair Ansell originally of Akron, Ohio went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at Absolute Hospice, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio at the age of 57.
He was born on September 6, 1966, in Akron, Ohio. Dan was the youngest of four children born to James and Georgina (Beardsley) Ansell. He was a graduate of Central Hower High School and studied at Akron University.
Dan loved writing and he was an avid reader. He enjoyed playing strategic board games with his friends and family. He moved to Indiana briefly to help with his parents and later returned to Ohio, settling in the town of Kent. Dan will be greatly missed by those who knew him best and loved him most. His kindness, warmth, and love touched those around him.
Dan is survived by his sister, Catherine (Tim) Hood, brother-in-law Garth Bertschi, and niece and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, only brother Patrick Ansell, and sister Susan Bertschi.
Dan's life will be celebrated with a private memorial with family and friends. He will be laid to rest at Hillside Memorial Park Cemetery.
