Obituary of Daniel Keith Baker
In Loving Memory and With Great Sadness We Announce the Passing of Son, Brother and Uncle Daniel Keith Baker of Minneapolis.
Danny passed peacefully on the morning of June 23, 2024 at HCMC after a brief fight with cancer.
Danny has left us all too soon. Danny was preceded in death by his father Keith C. Baker, his brother David John Baker, his brother-in-law David Myhre, and by his beloved Audra Sigan of Gladstone Michigan. He is survived by his mother Rita Baker-Cody of Richfield MN and his six siblings - Stephen (Debby), Nikki (Brian), Patti (David), Mark (Kim), Michael (Carrie), John (Lisa), and 17 nieces and nephews, and 12 grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
Danny was born in Austin Minnesota on December 5, 1965, but he lived nearly all of his life, and attended school, in Minneapolis Minnesota. Danny loved people, sports, traveling, music, biking and cooking. He is, and will be, greatly missed by his many friends and his family. Services will be held at Lakewood Cemetery chapel in Minneapolis on July 11, 2024 at 1:00pm. A Celebration of Life will follow the service at the Loon Cafe in downtown Minneapolis; where Danny happily worked for many years.
