I got the sad news late as I was out of town training for a regional ice cream eating contest.
I attended St. Johns grade school several years ahead of the Bukowski brothers but I recall Danny being a scoring machine at both 27th & Wallace and at Prep.
I remember his brother Gary playing for the infamous Bill Garvey who had a unique way of impacting young boys for the rest of their lives.
