Daniel P. Cappa

Daniel P. Cappa, 84, of Marshalls Creek, passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, upon arrival at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Pocono in East Stroudsburg after being stricken at home. He was the husband of the late Anna Marie "Nancy" (McCullough) Cappa with whom he shared 44 years of marriage at the time of her death on March 17, 2015.
Born on October 15, 1938 in Scranton, he was a son of the late Joseph and Anna (Klein) Cappa and lived in Marshalls Creek since 1972.
Dan was a self-employed contractor operating the family business, Marshalls Creek Plumbing.
He was a member of St. John's Catholic Church in Marshalls Creek and the American Legion.
Surviving are two sons, Daniel J. Cappa and his girlfriend Chelsea and Joseph C. Cappa and his wife Donna all of East Stroudsburg; four granddaughters, Joey, Emma, Evy and Lacey Cappa; a grandson, Levi Cappa; a brother, Charles Cappa of Brodheadsville; a sister, Nancy DeVizia of Stroudsburg; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Sara Walters.
Services will be held on Tuesday, October 17th, at the William H. Clark Funeral Home, 1003 Main Street, Stroudsburg, with viewing beginning at 11:30AM followed by a prayer service at 1:30PM with Deacon Kevin Scheirer officiating. Burial will follow at Laurelwood Cemetery.
