Daniel Clay Clinard, 35, of Winston-Salem, NC, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 11, 2025, while riding his beloved motorcycle.
A devoted father, hardworking man, and loyal friend, Daniel was known for his kind heart, love of working on and riding vehicles, and his willingness to help anyone in need.
He graduated from East Forsyth High School and worked at MSJ Glass and Glazing, where his dedication and strong work ethic stood out. Above all, he loved his daughter, Sky, deeply and unconditionally.
Daniel will be remembered for his generous spirit and the lasting impact he made on those around him.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Clinard; godfather, Gary Sloop; uncle, Tommy Clinard; paternal grandparents, Pauline and C.V. Clinard; maternal grandparents, Betty and James Helton; and great-aunt, Dot.
Daniel is survived by his loving daughter, Skyler Lockhart; fiancé, Shayna Rogers; mother, Pamela Clinard; brother, David Helton; sister, Diamond Beck (Billy); and nieces/nephews, Zay, Jeffrey, Conner, Matthew, and Izzy.
A celebration of life will be held from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Sunday, July 20, 2025, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel.
