Daniel D. Daggett, 65, a lifelong resident of Stoughton, died peacefully at home on Friday, March 7, 2025 with his loving family by his side. He was the husband of Donna J. (Collins) Daggett for 48 years. Son of the late Edward and Mildred (Mulligan) Daggett, he was born in Boston and graduated from Stoughton High School, Class of 1977. He was the owner of Daggett Welding in Stoughton for over 30 years before retiring 20 years ago. Danny was an avid Boston sports fan and coached many of his children’s youth sports teams for many years. He was the scorekeeper at Stoughton High School volleyball games for many years. He enjoyed darts, softball, bowling and playing cards and golf but his greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, Danny is survived by his children, Jason E. Daggett and his wife Eileen of Freedom, NH and Kerrie L. Gawrys and her husband James of Jeffersonville, VT. He was the loving “Papa” to Thomas Gawrys, Adam Gawrys, Hunter Daggett, Kayleigh Gawrys, Edward Daggett, Emily Daggett and Paige Gawrys. He was the brother of Louise Crowley, Michael Daggett, Alan Daggett, Richard Daggett and the late Edward “Buddy” Daggett and Paul Daggett. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visiting Hours will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday, March 11 from 4-6:30 followed by Funeral Prayers at 6:30 PM. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Daniel‘s memory may be made to any amputee foundation of your choice.
