Daniel T. Eaton, 39, of Oakdale, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 13, 2025, in his home.
Dan was born on October 7, 1985, in McKees Rocks, a son of David B. and Barbara Hackett Eaton.
Dan was a member of St. Columbkille Church and was currently working in construction for Bridges Construction CO. Dan also owned his own business, Eaton Construction Service, LLC. Dan was an avid hunter and fisherman. All his life Dan enjoyed being out by the water and reeling in the biggest and best fish he could catch. He was an outdoorsman at heart. Dan enjoyed his time spent working on his yard and landscaping around his home. He was a man that knew the value of hard work. He was so proud of the remodeling that he had done to his house, which was previously his grandmothers. He was talented and it was such a privilege for his family to see the accomplishments his hard work brought him.
Family was very important to Dan as well. He was very interested in his family's heritage and their history. The newest generation of Dan's family was possibly his favorite. Dan loved his nieces and nephews more than anything. The times he shared with them were some of his best. Those are the memories Dan would want them to remember, all of the good times.
Surviving along with his loving parents is his brother, David B. (Niki) Eaton, nieces and nephews, Lacey, Allie, Michael, Brian and Maya Eaton, uncle, James Hackett, aunts, Georgia Hackett and Roselle Eaton, and his four-legged best friend, Rocco.
Dan is preceded in death by his brother, Michael B. Eaton and grandparents, James and Georgia Hackett and George L. and Alberta Eaton.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, February 21, 2025 at 10 a.m. at St. Isidore the Farmer Parish – St. Columbkille Church, Imperial.
In lieu of flowers or memorial trees, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
All arrangements are entrusted to Thomas-Little Funeral Service, Inc. and Crematory, 305 Main St., Imperial (724-693-2800).
