Daniel Friedly Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Don Catchen & Son Funeral Home - Elsmere on Nov. 9, 2024.
Daniel Richard Friedly November 19, 1974 - November 7, 2024
Dan was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. He was a graduate of Eisenhower High School, in Shelby Township, Michigan and went on to attend Michigan State University and was a proud Spartan.
Dan became a firefighter and EMT, in service to others. After years of dedication to serving the community, he was promoted to Lieutenant of the Lansing Township Fire Department. Most recently, he was proud to continue his service with the Cincinnati Emergency Communications Center.
Dan enjoyed traveling, cooking, golf, MSU football, and most of all, spending time with family and friends. He often made us laugh with stories of home improvement projects gone wrong, and we cherish those memories. He was kind, thoughtful, and helpful to others. Dan is loved by many who will miss him and will cherish his memory.
Dan is survived by his son, Nick (Kellie) Friedly and grandchildren Colton and Gabriel, fiancee Whitney Isaacs and her children, former spouse Connie Friedly, brother Jason (Amy) Friedly and their children, beloved aunt and uncle Cheryl and Wayne Connor, father Richard Friedly, and many cherished lifelong friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Cindy Friedly, stepmother Peggy Friedly, and his grandparents.
Family and friends will be notified of a burial and celebration of life at a later date.
