Daniel “Danny” E. Heck, 89, of Coolville, OH passed away Friday, August 8, 2025 at Abbyshire Place Nursing Facility.
He was born October 12, 1935 in Walker, WV to the late Charles W. and Bessie I. Meek Heck.
Danny served in the US Army and enjoyed fishing and boating. He was a member of the VFW and American Eagles. Danny was a retired truck driver.
Left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Brenda Heck (Eugene Thaxton) of Parkersburg; son, David Heck (Kathy) of Kenova, WV; significant other, Dorothy Giffin of Coolville; step-children, Dale Giffin, Jr. of OH, and April Deem (Bobby) of NC; sisters, Janet McKee of Pomeroy, OH, and Wilda Depue of Parkersburg; grandchildren, Kayla, Brooklynn, Alexis, Colton, Danny, David, Dawn, and Danielle; great-grandchildren, Isaac and Eli; step-grandchildren, Parker, Zack, and Ethan; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Green Street, Parkersburg, Saturday, August 16, 2025 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Jim Holman officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Walker, WV. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
